Kyle Crawford - Head Coach

Heading into his eleventh year coaching basketball, Kyle Crawford is excited to transition to the girls game. His first nine years were split between the Waco, Texas and Dallas, Texas areas before he and his wife moved to Colorado in the Summer of 2022. He then spent one year as the head boys coach at Woodland Park High School, helping end a playoff drought that was over a decade long. Coach Crawford has also spent a handful of years as a football coach as well as racking up ten years worth of experience coaching high jump, triple jump, and long jump. This is Coach Crawford’s second year at Timnath as a Middle and High School Social Studies teacher.

As someone who grew up in a sports crazy family, Coach Crawford recognizes that athletics are one of the best avenues to helping student athletes become the best version of themselves. He believes that the foundation of a solid program is built on positive relationships, high expectations, and sticking together in the face of adversity. He is excited to be a part of building the culture of the girls program and can’t wait to celebrate the successes that are experienced on and off the court.

Outside of the classroom and off the court you can find Coach Crawford out on a run or spending time with his wife Kelsey. They enjoy hiking, watching sports, visiting family, and planning their next road trip.

Katherine Joyal - Assistant Coach

My name is Katherine Joyal and I have been coaching basketball for almost three years, all at Timnath High School! I work in the school district in an elementary special education program and when I'm not working or coaching, I am either doing homework for my Master's degree or spending time with my family.

Madi Burningham - Assistant Coach

My name is Madi Burningham, I am originally from Sonoma, CA. I moved here 3 years ago for xray tech school. I started coaching basketball my junior year of high school with my dad and then continued working with University of San Diego women’s basketball team for 6 years.  I started as a team manager during my undergrad degree where I traveled with the team helping with filming and stats. After graduating in 2018, I got hired on as the Director of Basketball Operations and was in that role for 2 years. I am now a full time xray tech here in Fort Collins and going back to school for Nuclear Medicine next summer. I am looking forward to seeing everything we can accomplish as a program.
